I don’t know about you, but I LOVE the show Run’s House. I’m all over it!
The big deal to me is that this guy was who I wanted to be in the 80’s (sorry MJ. Sh’amon), and ‘reconnecting’ with him now reaffirms those feelings. Let’s all agree that there are not many images of the family unit on TV these days (especially African American). That alone makes this a good show. Beyond that, the guy is flawed (as all good heroes are) and works every week on the show to be the best dad he can be.
As a Dad and business owner, Run’s effort is a great reminder that I am doing the right thing, and that the American Dream is possible to achieve for ALL PEOPLE.
